I would like more information on the artists from the extreme music series (links, etc)?

the following website is still up (though not updated for a long time) www.emfw.freeuk.com/with so many sometimes obscure artists it's difficult to keep track of links but I'll see if we can compile some kind of list as an update, Extreme Music From Israel is still going ahead, I've heard that we've got several new contacts which mean the project should now have enough quality material

I'm really looking forward to the Extreme Music From Israel release. I think it will be very interesting ideed.
I loved the Russian edition. It prompted me to buy i5067,70's "Degeneration Principle".

the project is still in progress, the thing is at present there isn't enough material of sufficient quality and variety to make the kind of album we're looking for, WB.

Never have we imagined extreme music from women, Africa (!!!), and now Israel. I can't imagine what it would be like.
Perhaps something very dangerous such as Extreme Music from Islam, or even India?

WB - what do you have to say in response to the rumour that circulated a while back that alot of the artists featured on the 'Extreme Music From Africa' comp didn't really exist and that they were actually YOU?!
(I haven't heard the comp and so I can't really comment - I'm just stirring the pot).

It's telling that there is no Extreme Music from the UK CD thus far.

It's telling that there is no Extreme Music from the UK CD thus far. How so? "Extreme music" acts in the UK, Europe, and the US would hardly benefit from such a compilation; they don't have much trouble getting their stuff out to an audience. And such comps wouldn't have the whiff of the exotic or unexpected that has typified the EM series to date.
