Saw F. Hecker playing with Yasunao Tone once.........well, it was "abstract brise-neurones" my friends..........headache, headache, headache............. Oh yes, I saw one of those shows. A friend of mine had to leave, as she was becoming physically sick. A group of Tone's fishing buddies were on hand enjoying the concert, hahaha... Tone himself is a great character. For one of his art actions, he dumped a bucket full of metallic junk down the stairs of a major train station in Osaka. In typical Japanese fashion, people came running to help him pick up the "accidentally" spilled debris. And of course, he just emptied the bucket again....i think the police finally hauled him off and questioned his mental sanity.

What about a disc of gay extreme music? I don't know what it would be called, though. "Extreme Music from Latin America" would be a pretty fascinating idea, as would Korea. It's like those world music samplers gone horribly wrong, but in a good way.

This is something with huge mainstream appeal but it certainly sounds like 'extreme music from a woman' to my ears, wild video too. The only other time I've heard 'lab rat' used as an insult in lyrics was on Consumer Electronics 'Parking Lot'. 3.30 of audio-visual extremity to put the noise scene to shame - www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6j4f8cHBIM&

Thought to be a direct insult to 'Lil Kim'

It's an amazing and very funny piece of music, no-one is ever gonna call it art but it's phenomenally daring and extreme. The last ten seconds or so where she has a tantrum saying 'fuck you stupid hoe' is reminiscent of Wriggle Like A Fucking Eel. I love her current cheesy pop hit Starships too even though it's pretty much just a Red One production from start to finish. The 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' section in that is spooky as hell. Most certainly buying the album when it's out. Damn I miss mephedrone, this would sound even better on that

I may never know the pleasures of that, or I wouldn't have a job Haha! It's a terrible situation when employees get drugtested, what fucking business it is of their's unless you are driving a train or something. The Chinese stopped making the pure crystal mephedrone when it was outlawed everywhere. Whatever illegal muck passes for it nowadays I wouldn't go anywhere near. For a few months before it was banned it was great fun '09-'10. I think the estimates were eight million of us in the UK tried it?

Yeah, or a police car... I didn't think police got regularly drugtested, it's a tragedy if they are nowadays, it will kill the great British tradition of coked-up coppers randomly terrifying members of the public

Not regularly I think, buy when applying for new roles (or when initially applying - obviously) If music has an 'extreme' intention or message, but the music itself isn't out of the ordinary, does the track still fall under the 'extreme?' category

If music has an 'extreme' intention or message, but the music itself isn't out of the ordinary, does the track still fall under the 'extreme?' category That made me think about Morrissey, some of his content is undoubtedly 'extreme' (Ambitious Outsiders, Maladjusted, the astonishing Children In Pieces) but the music itself is pretty ordinary. Same goes for Manic Street Preachers.
