William,
The lyrics to this wouldn't be about Sotos would they? I may be very wrong but it seems that way. A little bit.

The chances of PB saying more about this are slim I suspect.
Could I direct everyone's attention to p.71 of 'Selfish, Little' - "...he slowly started to mine a similar vein with a remarkably uninteresting woman...my boorish friend..."
Handbags at fucking dawn!

Well, I don't know if "Ignorant goatish greybeard cunt" is a give-away...

I don't think it's about Balance, as I believe the band shared a bill with Coil and Carter/ Tutti - Amsterdam possibly, a few months before Balance's (RIP) accident. I wrote to William and asked if there'd been any friction because of GPO's express dislike of the band and he said that it had been fine. I may, of course, be completely wrong.

Yes I've read a few snide comments from GPO before but regardless of 'artistic differences' WH and his projects have always seemed to co-exist quite happily.

I was at the Amsterdam gig...............spent a while talking with John #Balance and at the airport too.............he mentioned that William was a real professional................I cannot recall any malice expressed.

this assumption would seem to come from the mention of "remote viewing" and the line "what kind of wronged animal are you", which could be assumed to perhaps be references to a couple of particularly obscure coil works. however, i seriously doubt if there is an intentional reference to balance / coil in any way. balance certainly had no problem with whitehouse, and i cant imagine vice versa either, to be honest. in light of direct references to things such as "the 191 page stupid little toxic alibi", i would think its fairly obvious who it is aimed at?
incidentally, gp-o was the only tg member to have any issue with whitehouse.

Gp-o I think despised WHITEHOUSE because of their attacks on mumbo Jumbo Psycheldelic culture etc well when I read the brainwashed review of the new album, It thought it might be about balance because the lyrics extracts were all grouped together that sounded like they could pertain to him, but when you hear it as a whole song, I seriously doubt it.
