I heard Albini is a federal agent and is responsible for several of the incarcerations at Guantanamo Bay. LOL! Of course I think that terrible noise project Barzel does that. ;D Or Barzel probably has secret connections to Jared Taylor's racist American Reniassance organization just as his beloved David Horowitz does... I think there's worse people in the scene than flea-bitten Austrians...

That's getting off topic, but David Horowitz sure is disgusting! As is Barzel. What Barzel said in Degenerate magazine obnoxiously had "neo-con" stamped all over it...

hey tim, old chap! check that funny interview of stefan jaworzyn i did a few years back: www.a-lab.org/article_us788a.html?id_article=91in the same issue, we also had some nice Savage Pencil interview: www.a-lab.org/article_us7721.html?id_article=87the beginning of it is rather boring, i must say. the end of it is kind of interesting, i think, Sav getting a bit more confident, talking about his relationship to magick, drugs, psychedelia! too bad we had to finish the interview at that point... Edwin Pouncey / SavX is a good friend of Mr. Bennett, from what i've heard recently, ahah... kind of stupid argument, yes, Whitehouse is very dangerous indeed, let me laugh... i'm thankful to Whitehouse for having opened my mind, to some extent, and not only on a musical level! thus said, never buy the Wire, the most interesting pages in it are the ad pages towards the end!!! and by the way, a not so good interview of Mr. Bennett that i also did in the same zine, some time ago: www.a-lab.org/article_usc96d.html?id_article=123ienjoy! cheers <ph>

Edwin Pouncey / SavX is a good friend of Mr. Bennett, from what i've heard recently, ahah Going by what WB has written on his blog, I'm not too sure about this... For my considerable sins, I still buy "The Wire", but would agree that the writing style does leave a lot to be desired sometimes. I had to laugh at a recent editorial where their editor declaimed that he's decided to like dubstep, because he deems it better than grime. Boy, I bet all those grime producers must have gnashed their teeth in rage.

Saw Stefan Jaworzyn playing live with Ascension in Leeds the other week. Pretty good. I'm into all the Ascension, etc, stuff. Are me and my friend the only ones?!

blackoperations - I like Ascension as well. Have seen them a few good times, a particularly memorable gig being them supporting Merzbow. Did you ever get the Descension CD?

Yes, and the 7". Got it all. The Descension CD, or the first set on it at least, is absolutely fucking class. Everything I want from that sort of 'music'. Could tell you a great story about the first time I heard the Descension CD but I haven't got the time time ...

To revive an old thread ...
I just came across this which I thought would interest some folk here. From an interview with John Murphy from B Side Magazine (Australia) #24 from, I guess around 1989-1990:
"... I was doing my own electronic music at home. Via that I ended up playing with this guy named William Bennett in his band whitehouse, who were an industrial group over there [in the UK], noise band, put out a few records and stuff. Considered the most horrible band in the world, he's quite proud of that reputation. Noise and sado-masochistic lyrics, kind of like 'Metal Machine Music', really over the top. I ended up playing on five different cassettes that they made and one album."
The whole interview is fascinating, by the way, but this is all that relates to Whitehouse.

According to the Live Aktions dossier, J. Murphy plays 4 LA with WB (LA 3, 4, 6 and 7 - LA 5 was cancelled - ), thus he appears on the live tapes recordings of these LA when they exist. LA 4 appears complete on the album Psychopatia sexualis LP.

There's also a rehearsal tape from the USA tour. Other COme Org cassettes are the archive cassettes like Ripper Tape, German Marching songs, etc. Fun stuff.
