Hello William,
I'm one of your fans (perhaps the only one) from Romania (not sure if more than 20 people have ever heard of Whitehouse here, let alone listen to it and like it) :-) Since you have always seemed to be the main creative force and the motor of the band, I would like to ask you some questions.
1. After a lot of patience and perseverence I finally managed to get and to listen to Bodychoke's "5 prostitutes". This album is truly amazing, almost unique I dare say. So far away from SJ's usual distorted yells and manipulations, yet uniquely beautiful and eerie. And the voices... I have no idea why Tomkins and Taylor decided to put aside their much-abused synths, grab some guitars and do such a record, but I'm very glad they did it. Why do I rant about it? Because I'm sure everybody among us, "fans" (boy, I hate this word!) would be veeeery interested about a similar experience from you (ok, add Phil Best too). Try to forget for once of Wasps, Yamahas and I don't know what else you've been torturing for the last 25 years, get some guitars, a bass, and try to express the same anger and opressiveness using only such "classical" instruments. You sure know Michael Gira of the former Swans, don't you? He still manages to sound creepy and intense and deranged nowadays when he plays a simple guitar in his room and doesn't rely on the Swans wall of sound trademark of the 80's and 90's any more.
2. How would you like to visit Romania and scare the shit out of some audiences here? :-)
3. (direct question) Did you include on the web site at some time links to sites of Anthea Turner and Alizee because you liked to masturbate to these two?;-) (you can skip this last question, it's not mandatory)
(sorry for my lame mastery of English)
