Best's vocals on Dans are as brutal a vocal take as you're ever going to hear, and his voice sounds as good now as it did when he was recording as Consumer Electronics in 1982.
And then there's Bennett who's basically god.
Impossible to pick.

I definitely like both, but if push comes to shove, I'd choose Bennett. Best's vocal style is really too straightforward compared to Bennett, who on the other hand uses some really brilliant stylisations in his vocals. Especially 'Cruise (Force the Truth)' is a mindblowing example of this. Still, Best sounds great on Ascetistics 2006.

Doesn't exactly answer the question, but I was thinking the other day, driving along with Cruise on at a high volume and startling the general public, that some of the most exciting parts of their songs are when the singer switches - it doesn't seem to matter in which direction, but the contrast in their voices works so well, it's like a key change in melodic music. That works doubly so when you're seeing them play live.
I can't choose between them as singers, but I tend to slightly prefer the songs that Bennett sings. Now that I think about it, that's possibly because on most of those, they both sing, whereas on Philip's songs, he often sings on his own.

Yes, very hard to choose, compare them in such track as "Killing hurts.." - both of them do great job, each other in his own style...

remember both of them sing along JUST LIKE A CUNT / A CUNT LIKE YOU ....extended version.........both vocals mixed, one after the other : bennet, next best, next bennett, then best, again and again...splendid ...powerful. Live, this track was also fantastic, each one stealing the mic from the other... I also really like Best vocals on titpulp, especially performed live.

WB has more range and I like the spoken vocals too (also good live; I love 'Dance the Desperate Breath' from LA86 for example) but no-one can sound as angry and as disgusted as PB.

Yes they work briliiantly together it's very difficult to choose between them now tho' my all-time favourite vocals are on Total Sex.

The dual vocals on "Cut Hands Have The Solution" are near-as-dammit perfect, and the vocals overall on "A2006" are simply exceptional.
