The People's Association, known as The Golden Dawn are on the rise in Greece and it doesn't seem to be getting much press attention at all. The greek police are turning a blind eye and it's getting worse. Some of the stories coming out of there right now , the attacks on immigrants etc are pretty shocking

It definitely disgusts me. If there's anyone I hate it's nazi skinheads. Had to deal with those scumbags in the music scene back in the 90s.
I'd say fuck the Golden Dawn! I've been throwing curses at them just like I usually do to perceived enemies. You should do something about such scum. Get a gun if you have to...

They seem to have chapters popping up everywhere, here in Montreal too. Of course they try to pass themselves as nice people, helping old ladies cross the street, holding food drives...

And apparently Golden Dawn UK has recently started. I hate it when the likes of Whitehouse have been mistaken for fascists by the confused or wilfully malicious, but when the real thing surfaces I think most of us in the UK regardless of political viewpoint or level of libertarianism have the same message for them:

Love it! You can never tell how serious some bands are/were regarding racism/fascism etc

BTW it seems this 'new dawn' of racial hatred has spread even to Israel of all places...
Needless to say my project Foot and Mouth Disease, even though in the past I regrettably paid lip service to bands like Death In June which I admit was a long-running mistake, was never about fascism. Completely against that in fact... A recent song I have done is called "Extreme Fuckover" and it's a jaundiced view of the murderous tyrant Pinochet's family.

You can never tell how serious some bands are/were regarding racism/fascism etc I guess if some populist hooligan type band are singing "beat up and kill so-and-so" then going offstage and actually beating up and killing so-and-so (or clearly and actively encouraging their listeners to) it is a good indicator they are fascist! Otherwise give artists the benefit of the doubt. It's their job to be confused (Spinal Tap reference). Not a fan of Death in June simply as I don't enjoy the music but he seems to have been given a rough ride for his fetishism thing, Joy Division did exactly the same and are some kind of national treasure. Am not politically obsessive enough to figure out why this is. The hell with Golden Dawn and suchlike creeps, I look forward to their inevitable demise with relish. I know people with military backgrounds and distinctly right wing views who have zero tolerance for their bullshit. They have just about everyone against them.

Truth is Douglas P. of DIJ was headed a bit too much into Islamophobia for my liking, and alot of his fans have lately turned that way as well... The last straw for me was some kook praising Anders Behring Breivik on the DIJ Yahoo group. Sure Douglas himself might not have been getting his fans to beat-up people like the other, but I'm sure alot of his fans have been rooting for it. Frankly I sold all my DIJ and Boyd Rice records and got a MIDI controller with the money. I don't miss it all if you ask me.
I hate Neofolk anyways, it's all a bunch of Sol Invictus retreads. Tried reading Evola but I discovered many of his believers were neo-nazis so I threw the book I was reading in the garbage. I'm convinced he should be called "Evil-a"...
