Did you know about this William? (or any other Bergman fans for that matter) It's been a long time coming to dvd this one. I've seen an awful copy of it but I still thought it was a great film. Full of his trademark caustic sniping and there are even some departures into the surreal. Some of the best performances I've seen from Jospehson and Ullmann. Absolutely top drawer Bergman, though aren't they all? www.amazon.com/Face-Liv-Ullmann/dp/B0052SO0ME/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1313331481&sr=1-1

Is a region 2 (UK) version being released? Don't Torture A Duckling is also being re-released this month! Looking forward to that.

I haven't heard anything about the R2 of this. I wouldn't hold your breath. Maybe Palisades Tartan might get round to it in light of this one being available. They put out Fanny and Alexander in 2009 and they seem to be keeping the old Tartan ones available, or is just old stock and not reprints?
Personally, I've waited long enough for a decent version of Face To Face and my R1 pre-order is in!
Don't Torture A Duckling looks great, I didn't know about that, thanks.

I have almost every Bergman film, good and bad, so I shall be keeping an eye open for this re-release.
