Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so apologies if this question shouldn't really go here or has been answered before! I recently picked up one of the Consumer Electronics 3xLP boxes that was released on RRRecords. However, I'm sure as you all know, there's no actual track listing for the release, as seen here: www.discogs.com/Consumer-Electronics-Consumer-Electronics/release/749904I was trying to work out exactely what each of these tracks are, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas or if anyone would find it useful. This is what I can gather from Discogs and this post on Philip's blog: philipbest.blogspot.com/2008/01/discography.htmlDisc 1: 8 tracks in total Abridged version of the Consumer Electronics s/t tape, which is only listed as 2 long sides both untitled Disc 2: 8 tracks total Apparently these come from the Leathersex tape, although that has 13 untitled tracks, meaning 5 are missing. Disc 3: 2 live sets The Nailsea School set appears to be the Public Attack tape, but has the Centro Iberico show appeared elsewhere before? Also, looking at the post on Philip's blog, he mentions that Teenage Nuremburg features selections from CE2, Tease and Leathersex. Does anyone know what these LPs actually contain please?

The full Leathersex is apparently due for a release on Harbinger Sound - it's been available on blogs as mp3 for a while now.
The Centro Iberico show originally appeared on the Broken Flag album split with Ramleh, slightly remixed - the RRR version is I think the untreated tape.
Tease was the live show from January 83 - two different recordings of the same night - this became the title track of Teenage Nuremburg.
Not much info is around on the later Iphar releases but it seems some post-CE stuff may have been issued under the name Psychout - in microscopic editions which even Philip Best no longer has.

Hey thanks for the additional info. For the Centro Iberico tracks, are you referring to the untitled tracks that appear on the Statement compilation on Broken Flag?
I saw that Harbinger were to re-release Leathersex. Anyone have any idea what tracks off that and the s/t tape are? Given that Teenage Nuremburg contains some of these, along with the other mentioned tapes, could they include Dodd and your Zen Is Shit?

Hey thanks for the additional info. For the Centro Iberico tracks, are you referring to the untitled tracks that appear on the Statement compilation on Broken Flag? No, the material on BFV2 credited to 'Libertarian Recordings' (as Philip had joined WH and wasn't supposed to release anything else as CE) I saw that Harbinger were to re-release Leathersex. Anyone have any idea what tracks off that and the s/t tape are? Given that Teenage Nuremburg contains some of these, along with the other mentioned tapes, could they include Dodd and your Zen Is Shit? The 'Your Zen Is Shit' thing is I think from Leathersex which includes other John Lennon samples. All these tapes really are still very 'difficult' and 'challenging' not to say barely fucking listenable to this day

Thanks that's really helpful as there's actually a listing for the box that confirms the Leathersex and Public Attack 3 stuff is on there. Looks like Fuck The IRA has been removed from Disc 3, but it's on the Neuengamme comp.
I had no idea that this was a live CE recording, I just assumed it was another side project, but then I haven't heard it!
Thanks so much for the help guys!
