Generally all things made by Korg. In fact, Everything that they made from the MS to The Triton. We all wish we could afford a Synthi. Life sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Korg makes cool synths usually -- the older models anyways. I still got my Poly 800 I got for only $100. Still a great synth. Although my favorite is still my ARP Odyssey mark III... Never play a gig without it.

Mine is the Synthi A. I use it a lot. A hell of a lot when i come to think of it. Also, love the Synplant VST. I used to use the imposcar quite a bit a few years ago. You can get quite a few good sounds out of it if you spend enough time tweaking it.

Ehh looked at Synplant and it didn't interest me. Thought it was a virtual Synthi or something...
Discovered that the Reaper recording program has a whacked-out built-in synth though...

Synplant seems a little unpredictable

Synplant seems a little unpredictable Believe me the Synplant is killer. You can get some amazing sounds out of it if you spend a little time with it. And for improvising it is always a plus. It has a huge range and a lot of potential.

I might give the trial a go, even though my computer is slow as hell at the moment

I might give the trial a go, even though my computer is slow as hell at the moment I would highly recommend it and I rarely recommend much. But I would spend some time with it, really mess around with it. There are so many tweaks you can make to get a great sound.

Hello, I am currently using an Analogue Solution Vostok Matrixsynth, some Valve Oscillators, an old signal generator and a bunch of analogue pedals plus two microphones. So far it has worked pretty well for me. Cheers, Rob
